Emflon® PTFE Mesh Membrane
Removal of Large Particulates from Solvents and Caustic Reagents

Emflon PTFE Mesh membrane is comprised of 100% polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and shares all the basic material properties of PTFE components. The membrane can be sterilized by gamma irradiation and autoclaving within the limits established by the FDA (Regulation 21 CFR 177.1550). Emflon PTFE Mesh is capable of being sonically and thermally welded, is usable to 450° F, and is resistant to all chemicals with the exception of high concentrations of alkali metals.
